Our local, experienced instructors provide excellent instruction in their respective fields.
Cameron Yarberry
Firearms instructor, CPR/First Aid Instructor
Cameron Yarberry, owner of Urban & Rural Survival, is a Concealed Carry and Home Defense instructor and Range Safety Officer certified through the USCCA, as well as an NRA Pistol Instructor.
Cameron is also a certified BLS Instructor through the American Heart Association.
He was a volunteer fire fighter with Log Hill Fire Department, and currently lives off-grid in the Log Hill area near Montrose, CO.

Bobby Morgan
Medical and Firearms Instructor
Bobby Morgan has been a certified NRA instructor for 15+ years. He is certified Red Cross CPR/AED and First Aid. Bobby is a training instructor for National Weapons Detection, as well as a less-lethal instructor.
Contractor with Homeland Security for the past 11 years. Bobby also teaches Hunter's Ed.
Ted Valerio
Firearms Instructor
Ted Valerio came to the Western Slope of Colorado in 2001 to serve the community as a law enforcement officer. During his 20 year tenure he has enjoyed a majority of his career as a major crimes criminal investigator and a polygraph examiner. He also has 18 years of SWAT experience, from entry to sniper team leader. Currently he is the Lieutenant of Investigations for the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office.
He is an experienced Certified Law Enforcement Firearms Instructor in Handgun, Carbine (Patrol Rifle), Precision Rifle, and Tactical Rifle. He maintains these skills by acting as the range master for the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office and trains students at a regional Police Academy as a Colorado POST full skills firearms instructor.
As a small business owner (oneasteriskindustries.com), Ted Valerio specializes in 3D design for prototyping and additive manufacturing.
